Sierra Leone Immigration Department Presents 2026–2030 Strategic Plan to UNDP, Seeks Mandate for Border Management & Partnership

The Sierra Leone Immigration Department (SLID) held a successful and productive meeting with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) at the UNDP Hall, Freetown. The meeting was convened to present SLID’s Strategic Plan of Action and submit a proposal for funding, technical collaboration, and partnership to implement the 2026–2030 strategic plan.

Sierra Leone Immigration Department Signs MOU with Anti-Corruption Commission

Freetown, Thursday, 23rd April 2026 - As part of efforts to transform the Sierra Leone Immigration Department (SLID) into a more reliable, credible, and service-oriented institution, the Chief Immigration Officer Dr. Moses Tiffa Baio Esq, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to strengthen collaboration in promoting integrity, transparency, and accountability in the Sierra Leone Immigration service delivery.
